The project is based on identifying fingerprints of the candidates using a database by comparing them. The software to be used is JAVA and it has to be interfaced with a Fingerprint Sensor. The skill set requirements are Image processing using JAVA, Pattern Recognition using neural networks (JAVA based coding) and comparing 2 images, transferring image from the sensor to the software wherein the image is compared with the ones in the database and verified.
